I’d like to write about the Tour de France. Today was a very exciting day. However, I’m reluctant. Every year this happens. I get pumped up and write about the race. Then the guy I’m following gets busted for drugs, and my heart is broken and my bike sits for the rest of the year.
I’ll just say this: If it weren’t for Vino, this year would be super boring. I can’t wait to see what he does in the Pyrenees.
There. I’m done.

I haven’t seen the stage yet (waiting for me on the Tivo) but, I read the headline about Vino. Stupid schloogs:

and I have nothing to say about Rasmussen.

I’ve decided that I don’t like Rasmussen. I’d decided that before I even read that Velonews article. Normally I like rooting for the underdog, and his inept time trial in 2005 put him in that position….but screw that. Dopers will ruin this sport if they let it. I don’t know if the Tour can handle another winner busted for drugs.
