My friend Brent has moved to New Orleans.
Brent is one of the original Dothan crew. He’s one of my oldest friends and I’m sad that he moved away. Athens is an emptier place now. But I understand why he did it.
Brent if you’re reading this, have a fucking blast down there. I hope you find what you’re looking for. Drink some Purple Haze and eat some beignets for me. Let me know when you’re ready for visitors.

right now i’m in work mode. my job is okay, but definitely not a long term thing. currently, im just busting my hump and keeping a roaming eye open. jazz fest was really cool, but i only got to go one day. i plan on upping my dosage next year. my house is actually pretty nice too. i have 2 female roommates, and i should be settled by the end of the month.
Sorry i couldnt “properly” exit athens, but the situation demanded action. You can still buy me my “going away” drinks at any time in the near future.
perhaps a little getaway after you pass your test? Not much like a Big Easy to reward your journey through the desert.

You read my mind…It’s been too long since I was in NOLA. Last time I was there, it was to visit Eric at Tulane, if that gives you any idea.
