Sailing the seas of fromage

It’s been a while since I posted.  It’s not that I don’t have anything to say, it’s that I don’t have much time with which to say it.  When you are really busy, as I have been for the past two weeks, when you get a free moment, you really have to examine your priorities.  Posting on this site was pretty low on the list so as a result….bupkus.

today I am doing an 8 hour study marathon to kick start my final push for the CCIE.  I’ll be filling my head with things like this:

set qos enable

set port qos 2/25-26 vlan-based

set port qos 2/25-26 trust-ext untrusted

set qos acl ip IP_PHONES trust-cos ip any any

commit qos acl IP_PHONES

set qos acl map IP_PHONES 100

This is but a small taste of the shit I’m having to fill my mind with. Incidentally, for those who want to know what the hell that code does….it tells a Catalyst 6500 series switch running CatOS to trust the class of service value from ip phones attached to blade 2 ports 25 and 26, and to not trust the class of service of the pc attached to the phones pc port.

See?  It’s fun for all the girls and boys.
