I’m a sucker for pain

I’ve signed up for my 3rd CCIE Voice lab exam attempt.  The test will be on February 20th.  I intend for this to be the last time I have to take this exam, so for the next three weeks, I’ll be executing my winning strategy.  Starting on Monday :)   This weekend I’m going to Charleston with Meggie to see our friend Travis.  So very little work will be getting done.  But after that it’s on.

I assume you mean in Charleston and not the CCIE, since that would get me stripped of all certifications, fired, and then my car and house would be reposessed, meghan would probably divorce me, and then I’d have to committ hara-kiri. So, yeah I’ll take some pics in Charleston.

    PARADISE NOT FOUND
It wasn’t long before the Driggers family noticed that even though their neighborhood was built out, a lot of the houses were vacant.

“That was fine with us,” Chris Driggers says, “until houses started foreclosing and questionable people started moving in.”

And there were other odd things, such as the fact that the neighborhood had no street signs. (The couple would later learn that the developer had never turned the streets over to the county for maintenance.) “A couple of times, ambulances came in and they couldn’t find things,” Chris Driggers says. The HOA ended up buying and installing street signs on its own.

what is that?? it was on homebuilder.com or something.

Uh, you totally didn’t list the most important part of your weekend, being the part where you and Meggy are going to an awesome show tonight with your lovely friend Sonya. I feel overlooked and unloved. :(

I feel no pity for you sonya. OK, maybe a little. Yeah we’re gonna rock out tonight, right after we go see the first half of a Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Misty: That was an interview I did with Builder’s magazine about my fucked up neighborhood. And I’ve spent about as much time living in Alabama as I want. I don’t think I’ll be doing that again :)

funny part is, when I read the title of this post I immediately thought you were going to get a new tattoo. I had all but forgotten about your ccie nightmare since you’ve been blissfully silent about it for a few weeks. After this weekend, the countdown to madness begins!

yeah the new tattoo come after I pass. I’m getting my CCIE number converted into a barcode which I will get tattooed on my butt.

and no more blissfull silence. CCIE will be all over this site until I’m done.
