I took great pleasure in this blog post. I really get bothered by the attitude of college radio DJs, not just WUOG guys and gals. I’m not a big fan of DJs in general, but if I could give the college ones some advice: Fucking enunciate. That mumbly shit blows ass. And stop saying “Um…”

amen! i can’t stand listening to sucky djs who sound like they’re bored/illiterate. if you’ve ever heard wuog’s news program, you’d want to claw your eyes out. how hard is it to *read* from a sheet of paper? umm…like, y’know?

I wasn’t even thinking of the news program, but that’s even worse than the music. I don’t want anyone to feel like I’m singling out WUOG. As far as I can tell, all college radio stations are this way.
I can understand not wanting to sound like your typical commercial DJ, but these students are taking it to the opposite extreme. To me, either way is unlistenable.
