Cornhole, anyone?
No it’s not what you think, perv. This game is a ton of fun! I should get a game set so that we can play. This game hails from the midwest, the land of curling and bowling. I played it with Meggy and her friend Kelly’s family. It’s addictive.
Spreading the word
I’m helping a pal, Robert, spread the word about a kick ass song about the day the immortal coach Bear Bryant died. It was the biggest funeral in Alabama since Hank Williams kicked off. Give it a listen and check out Roberts site for some Wiregrass history
Garbage Pail Kids!!
Check out the link. An archive of all the Garbage Pail Kids cards ever made. I loved those things when I was little. I used to have a duffel bag full of them. I wonder what happened to that?
Lawyer arrested in Milford Hills case
Things are still moving along with this case. I can’t wait for the trials to begin. I may take a day off and visit the courtroom if the proceedings are public. I’d love to be there when they sentence them.
Burned out
Haven’t posted in a while. I’ve been burned out on life. Nothing new as far as the Milford Hills fraud goes. I’ve been working very hard and pretty much crashing as soon as I get home. I’m not happy with that, since I haven’t ridden my bike in a couple weeks. I’m gonna get some riding in this week for sure.
Milford Hills Update
Worst Mortgage Fraud case in the US
Not exactly the kind of record I’d hoped for in my first home.
You can run but you can’t hide
I hope they find them all. I’m going to be watching this trial with much interest.
Milford Hills Update
Looks like we weren’t the only ones who got screwed by Dupree and his crook buddies.
I talked with Robert, the president of the Homeowner’s Association, last night. I think it’s obvious now that we were mistaken in blaming the state of our neighborhood on the HOA. According to Robert, there are less than 30 legitimate homeowner’s living in our neighborhood. Over 100 of the houses were sold fraudelently to fake buyers. So there are owners on the books, but they either don’t live there and don’t care, or they aren’t real people. It’s awful hard to get a fake person to cut their grass.
Just our luck to buy a house in one of the most misrepresented neighborhoods in GA history. The upside is that it has the potential to be a really nice neighborhood. We just need some real people living in it.
