Velonews has a great in depth editorial about the recent announcement by Jittery Joe’s Coffee to extend their sponsorship of the Jittery Joe’s Cycling Team for an unprecedented 10 years. This is fantastic news for United States cycling, where the Bean Team is universally popular. It’s also great news for Athens, since the publicity for our town is always positive where Jittery Joe’s is concerned.
Also, Jittery Joe’s is now offering franchise opportunities. They’ve envisioned a way to open new coffee shops and immediately integrate them into the local cycling culture, which is marketing genius. I would love to be able to open one.

I am an avid cyclist living in the rapidly growing city of Bakersfield CA. I also maintain a place in Grover Beach CA. In either (or both) locations, I would love to explore opening a Jittery Joes Franchise. Any information you might have regarding this opportunity would be greatly appreciated.
