Well, I put in an order for a 15 inch G4 Powerbook laptop from Apple on Friday. I put a lot of thought into this decision. I’m the resident Apple technician at my office and we’re starting to get a lot of business from companies that use Apple computers. I’m sort of the Apple tech by default. I’m just the only one in the office who isn’t afraid to try something new. And since I’m the only one at the office who works on Apple, it makes sense for me to have one. Apple recently put out their new version of OS X and now would be a good time to learn it.
Plus, let’s face it. Apple is way cooler than Microsoft.
This site will soon be filled with notes and thoughts about my attempts to integrate this laptop into my office’s Windows 2003 server network. Apple has a fanatical following and I’m going to be on a mission to discover just exactly what the fuck the big deal is
