The race is on

Ok, I’ve ridden my bike twice this week, a distance of about 9 miles each trip. So far so good! I haven’t puked my guts out yet, but i have almost passed out. But it gets better each time, and easier to keep up the routine.

Went to atlanta for a cisco conference and guess who I ran into at the registration table…my old boss Tom! I was pretty happy to see him and we hung out the whole day. He’s a great guy and he’s really doing well for himself. I’m happy for him! We had a good time messing around at the conference. He knew just about everyone there and introduced me to a lot of folks. I got some good ideas from talking with him too. I also got to go by and see the new Combest office, which is pretty sweet. Nick was at the office, so I got to say hey to him too.

All in all, a good day.

Travis is coming up this weekend, so it looks like I’ll be working on building the box for the back of my jeep. Hope that goes well, cause it’s starting to get a little hot out.

are you getting the bikini top?

I think so. The box I’m going to build might end up being taller than the rear deck, so I don’t know if I’ll need to cover it, but I’m going to get a bikini top and lose these doors. It’s getting to be that time.

You still have tix for the practice rounds at the Masters? Cause I could probably go to one.

Sorry i missed your visit to Combest. Tom must have been talking things up a bit :)

Yeah all day long! But seriously things look pretty sweet over there. I’m glad that Combest has been successful. I’m going to be trying to get my company to do some of the things that you guys are doing. Otherwise I’ll get pretty bored pretty fast.
